Chapter Five: Wormies~ o.O
"What do you mean, 'too'?" Wong asked.
The mysterious hooded girl rolled her eyes, "If you haven't noticed yet, I too have special powers such as all of you. I ate a a maroon coloured crystal that I found at some cave. Next thing I know I was wearing a maroon sleeveless shirt, a brown rolled up 3/4 pants, maroon high heels, this brown hood and I got monkey ears and a freaking tail! Awesome!"
"o.O , What ears and tail?" Wong continued asking.
The girl showed her monkey ears and tail and concealed them quickly after that.
"O..kay... so you got a name?"
"Wendy. That's all you need to know." She replied.
"Okay Wendy, Well my name is Wong, that's KusKus, Jac, Chelle, Gel, Nadiah and the weird dude with a chicken shirt over there is Faddy, and we're... The C.H.I.C.K.S!"
"Chicks o.O?" Wendy had a puzzled look on her face.
"The Cheesy Hyper Intelligent Childish Krispy Sushi. We come from the town of Jinglebells" Nadiah said.
"That makes no sense..but okay." Wendy said.
"So you joining us on our quest to save the world with our newly found superpowers *woooo~*.. or what?" Chelle said.
"Meh, whatever. I don't have anything better to do neway." She replied. "First we should go to the city of CloudThorn, we can get training from there."
"CloudThorn...Prince Charming!" KusKus said showing an angry look to his reflection on the mirror.
The 8 of them walked onwards following a path towards CloudThorn city.
Suddenly there was a huge roadblock. It was some kind of force field that was black transparent coloured.
"Damn! We can't get through! Who the heck put up this weird wall anyway?!" Gel said smacking on the force field.
"Actually Gel, its a force field, not a wall :)" Chelle patted her on the shoulder.
"I ..I knew that!" Gel said trying to cover up her mistake.
"There's another way into the city, but I'm not sure you'd wanna try it though." Wendy said.
"What issit?! Tell us!! I don't care if we have to call chickens n try to break this will with their stampede! I just wanna train. AHHHHH!!!" Faddy said dramatically.
"Well..we could go underwater, past the underwater city of Fishkings and arrive on the other side of the city to swim back up to the surface." Wendy said.
"So what's the catch? There's always a catch!" Jac said looking paranoid as ever.
"You'll have to eat these." Wendy said while pulling out 8 colourful worms from her pocket.
"What.the.hell!?!? We have to eat worms?!?! For what?!!?!?" Jac started rolling on the floor.
"They're special worms that'll let you breathe underwater."
"No way I'm gonna eat those slimy wormies!" Nadiah said.
"You don't actually have to eat it...you'll just have to chew it, besides, they're not real worms okay! They're chewing gum worms that'll let you breathe underwater as long as it stays in your mouth
The group walked by near a small looking pond.
"Ok, you all ready for this?" Wendy said.
"We, have to jump in the pond?! But it looks soo small and..it doesn't look deep..." Gel said
Jac inspected his gun thoroughly again and found out there was a button on the side which had an icon of a pig with wings on it. He pressed it and suddenly a gust of wind past by him so quickly he didn't realise that he was sitting on a flying piggy complete with saddle and rope.
"Ok..that was seriously wicked cool. I guess I can fly to the city now, see you guys on the other siiiiiiddeeeee......" And off he went flying in the air loooping in circles, still trying to figure out how to control the flying piggy, occasionally smacking trees in the process.
"Awww man, he won't experience the underwater then.." Chelle said.
"Ok guy's, It's time to go underwater!" Wong said happily grabbing a pink chewy wormy from Wendy's hand.
They all took each of their respective coloured worms and chewed on them. Then they jumped into the pond one after the other lead by Wong and the last person being Faddy.
They couldn't believe it. They really were breathing underwater and never knew it was so beautiful down there. The place was very glossy and filled with blue rocks all around the seabed. The water was translucently blue-ish and it just had a breathtaking view all around it.
Wendy signalled the team forwards and off they went to go the underwater city of Fishkings.
